Eesha Rebba On Real Slaps And Real Emotions
Om Shanti Shanti Shantihi is a fun village comedy starring Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba in lead roles.
Though it is a remake, Eesha says the film feels fresh as many changes were made to suit Telugu culture in the story and characters. She feels the emotions connect well and audiences will not feel it is a remake.
The trailer features a scene where Tharun slaps Eesha and she hits back. Eesha says she enjoys action scenes and revealed that some slaps were real to make them look natural.
In one shot, chutney splashed on her cheek, and the tears seen were real. Both actors were also genuinely hurt during an action sequence. Learning martial arts during COVID helped her a lot.
Eesha said the Godavari accent came easily to her as her mother is from Rajahmundry. She praised Tharun’s hard work with the slang and is confident the film will be a hit.
